I'm surprised that neither the author, nor any of the commenters mentioned Zen Browser (a Firefox fork), which is another decent alternative.
I'm also disappointed that the author chose Vivaldi, which uses Blink, and is therfore still influenced by Google (for instance, see how even Vivaldi ultimately succumbed to Manifest V3).
Using Blink isn't good for web diversity. Support the underdogs, boycott Blink.
